As of September 15^th, 2008 Mr. Zoltán Mester was appointed as the new State Secretary for Economic Development of Ministry of National Development and Economy.

The 42 years old economist has been working at financial fields. He was the Chief Infrastructure and Portfolio Officer of MALÉV Hungarian Airlines from 2007 and before that he was Associate and Managing Director of CAIB Corporate Finance.

His predecessor, Mr. Géza Egyed is going to manage the project of European Spallation Source (ESS) as a Prime Minister’s Commissioner.
